This page shows an assortment of mock-ups for a fictitious streetwear brand called ABRV (abbreviate) ABRV is a clothing brand for the digital age. Much of our time spent engaging with the digital sphere, but we rarely see it reflected in how we express ourselves in the real world. ABRV takes clothing as the new frontier to showcase the glitch phenomena that have invaded our everyday. ABRV is a streetwear brand that remixes images with the digital motifs of a loss of quality through bitmapped degradation. This loss of information, bitmapped-tiling, was the initial concept behind the brand. The thought of an image remediated through multiple platforms and each time losing detail brought about the name Abbreviate.
